This policy explains which personal data we process on StartupBrander.com and why – in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Branding briefs

When you send a brief, we process your details (name, role, email, optional phone and LinkedIn, company details and your project answers) in order to pass your brief on to matching branding agencies. Legal basis: your consent and the performance of the requested service (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

Forwarding to an agency: with your consent, we forward your brief to the branding agency that best matches your project. If no collaboration results, we ask you before forwarding it to another agency. The agency may be located in your country or – if you choose remote work or a city outside Europe – in another country, including the UK, the USA or South Africa. It uses your details only to contact you about your project. You can withdraw your consent at any time by email; a transfer already made is not affected.

Form service: the form is transmitted via the Web3Forms service, which sends us the brief by email. Data may be transferred outside Switzerland and the EU.

Draft in your browser: while you fill in the form, your answers are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) so nothing is lost. They are deleted when you send the brief.

We keep briefs as long as necessary for the referral and follow-up questions, for a maximum of 2 years.

Hosting and server logs

The website is delivered via Cloudflare. When you visit, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time, page visited, browser) are processed to deliver the site securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can request information about your data and ask for it to be corrected, deleted or restricted, object to processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to the email address above.
